The "Have a Nice Job" Page

I've managed to gather quite a few career web sites and career planning resources over time.  I thought I'd include them here for any of you who are looking for work.  ;-)

If you have any web sites that you think should be added to the list, please e-mail them to me at notbitter@addr.com.  I'll be happy to add them.

Other Goodies:

I found this personality test on-line.  It's pretty cool.  It's a 70+ question test that evaluates your talents and skills as well as you preferences and creates a "career profile."  It costs around $25.  The report you receive is pretty detailed and interesting to read.  Who knows — ditch digging may be your true calling!   You can take the "MAPP Assessment Test" at http://www.nationjob.com/assess.cgi

I've found a company that can give you a detailed report of what your past employers and other references are saying about you. Allison & Taylor, Inc. is the name of the company.  I can't vouch for this one personally and I don't know what they charge for the service but it sounded interesting.   You can check it out at  http://www.nationjob.com/reference3.cgi
